Our first born

Eliott is going to be fine but we found out on Wednesday that he has Lyme disease. It's rampant in our neighborhood and a lot of dogs get it. If you have a dog take precautions! Front line them and make them wear a prescription strength tick collar. Although we did both and he still go it. We caught it early enough that anti-biotics will knock it out and stop any further damage from occurring, thank God. Unfortunately it has already attacked his joints and we found out he had it because he was in so much pain that he couldn't even walk. It turns out that he has a slipped disc. This damage can not be undone. Unfortunately this has probably shaved some years off of poor Eliott's life. He was so sick on Wednesday and Thursday. I was very, very upset. Just seeing him in so much pain, shaking and crying and not able to walk. Today he is much better thanks to pain medication and rest. It's such a relief! When I came home last night he ran to the door and howled. I didn't think I'd ever be happy to hear him howling. What a sweet sound. Hang in there Baby E!
